Trial status granted.  You have two weeks to play with as many clan members as you can. Also you must play with at least one officer. Might we suggest sending out invites and messages.

Trial status granted. You have two weeks to play with as many clan members as possible. During this time you must also play with an officer. After which a vote will be held. Good luck

If your willing to forgive the fact that he is from Georgia......you will have no problems with Legend.

Great player with good game sense who is quick with the call outs. Easily fits in with all the current clan members I have been playing with

There's been countless comparisons and contrats made between the PlayStation 4 and the Xbox One.  Comparisons done by techsites, gamersites, and gamer companies.  So you have probably heard it all before and wonder why this any different.  Well since you already clicked this topic to read might as well see it to the end.

I am not a tech person and I don't work for a gaming company.  I do, however, bring a personal everyday man touch to the this topic.  So now that we got that out of the way lets move on.

Lets get the basics out of the way first.  Both the PS4 and Xbox One are gaming consoles, use blu-ray discs, and act as home entertainment systems. There are other things that both these consoles share, but what PS4 and Xbox One share is more different than you think.

First comparison to made is that you can talk to both your PS4 and the Xbox One.  You can tell the PS4 to do basic things like to pick a game, or some kind of function.  You can do the samething with with your Xbox One, with one major exception.  With the Xbox One you need the Kinect in order to talk with your console.  With the PS4 all you need is a mic.  Now personally I think speaking with the kinect is better.  Talking with the PS4 seemed very rudimentary.  Plus with PS4 you still have to press a button to do a screen capture or record a video.  If you don't have a kinect then this really is no different then what you are doing now.

The controller for the PS4 is by far better than...the PS3 controller.  It is more comfortable to hold and the trigger buttons are actually like triggers on this controller.  Also you can save money from bying batteries.  That being said I still think that the Xbox controller is lightyears ahead of the PS4.  Better handling and better thumb placement. Plus the top of stick buttons on the Xbox One controller are concave.  The stick buttons on the PS4 controller have a bulge in the center.  Needless to say they take getting used to.  It just doesn't quite feel right.

The PS4 operating system is very basic and simpler to use compared to the Xbox One operating system.  Everything is right where you need it from the moment you turn it on.  Plus it sems easier to search for things.  I never really had to dig too deep looking for something.  Simplicity might not be for everyone though.  The Xbox One operating system may be a little bit more complex, but offers more than the PS4 operating system.  The Xbox One allows you to engage more with your friends.

I don't want to get into the differences of software to much.  You're going to play whatever games you want and if you honestly cared about the difference between 900p and 1080p then you on a PC.  I will say when it comes to Apps for the consoles the Xbox One SmartGlass App is better than the PlayStaion App.  The Xbox One app really does turn your phone or tablet into a companion for your console.  Now I haven't really gotten to try the PlayStation App all that much.  I will update as I use the app more.  I will point out one major difference between the apps.  With SmartGlass you can message your friends.  You have to download a messaging app to do the same with PlayStation.  I don't know how Sony could make an app that provides you with so much, but you can't use it as a keyboard.  This does not include Xbox One SmartGlass on your computer.  That is something else on a different topic for another time.

Well I hope you enjoyed this review comparison topic.  Consider it a work in progress because our consoles are ever changing so as will this comparison review.  This isn't meant to persuade to buy one or the other.  It is simply menat to provide just a first hand account.  Plus with college over for the summer I'm still in writing mood.  Also feel free to make your own comments and own assesments.

Microsoft Is Releasing One Million Recycled Xbox Gamertags On May 18th

Have you ever spent hours crafting the perfect online user name, only to discover it had already been claimed? Thankfully, Xbox Live users will now have more choices. Microsoft will release nearly one million Gamertags on Wednesday, May 18th at 2pm (EST). They will be available to Xbox Live Gold members with active subscriptions and at least one year of cumulative Xbox Live Gold tenure.

The Gamertags will be released over a 24-period so that Xbox Live Gold members in different countries will have an equal chance of claiming one. Xbox Live policy permits one free Gamertag change request in a user’s lifetime, after which they have to pay $10 for a swap. Members are encouraged to keep checking out the website for new names throughout Wednesday.

While there are no specific details yet, the Gamertags will include proper names, pop culture references, types of food, geography and travel, science and technology, math and numbers, animals, and “some of the greatest inventions of all time.” Some possible names include Nostradamus, GrilledCheese, and Nintendo.

These Gamertags are from accounts that were abandoned during the original Xbox era and never migrated over to the Xbox 360. The Xbox 360 was released in 2005 and the console’s servers went offline in 2010. The Gamertags were never used to log onto either newer consoles or through Microsoft’s Web-browser interface.

The newly-released Gamertags will be available on Xbox.com. Xbox Live Gold members can also access these Gamertags within the Xbox App on Windows 10 and on the Xbox One console. Xbox 360 owners will need to use Xbox.com, the Xbox App on Windows 10, or an Xbox One, since these Gamertags never migrated over to the Xbox 360.

If you are uncertain about your Xbox Live Gold tenure, you can view your Profile on an Xbox One console or on the Xbox App on Windows 10. These new Gamertags will not affect your Gamerscore, Achievements, or your Friends list.

So I could have probably posted this in the members area but this is where I guess we put our reviews, so here is mine.

Star Citizen is a crowd funded PC game in developement by Chris Roberts (famed for Elite Dangerous and Wing Commander) that will be and is a cutting edge Space Sim. It is in Alpha and Beta testing atm. You can join the testers and give feed back as they bring the game forward. Star Citizen isn't tied to big name gaming publishers, instead all funding comes directly from the public through donations, product purchases, and investing. When Chris Roberts first announced the game would be 100% cloud funded, he was touted as a fool and critics said it would never succeed. THEY WERE WRONG!

The public has responsed by breaking all set financial goals and have contributed 112 million plus and still counting!!!! I am not going to waste my time here talking about all the set backs and controversity the game developers have experianced, total drama and a waste of time. I will tell you that Star Citizen will be released in part to the public this year, It has playable Alpha and Beta portions now and developers want you to play it and help find the bugs. I find the open contributions, developement and public input for the game refreshing. The developers do weekly pod casts on you tube and other media. Monthly, Chris Roberts does a broardcast called 10 FOR THE COMMANDER were he takes 10 questions from the gaming public and gives indepth answers and explainations about almost anything. When was the last time EVER a game developer did that or allowwed the public to have direct input into game design. LIKE NEVER!

 Star citizen is amazing!

Public funded, gamer designed, outstanding graphics and content is making it the one we all will play for years to come and I predict it's success will equal and surpass World of WarCraft.

Star Citizen is huge and ongoing. It will be continually updated and content added over time. At release it will not be complete and there may never be a "final" version. Just like Destiny and WoW it will continually grow and expand as long as the public market bares. It is difficult to put the game in one catagory: MMO, Space Sim in an open virtual universe, FPS, adventure and exploration are all combined to give most gamers extrordinary game time.

I give Star Citizen a thumbs up and look forward to it's first release. For those of you that want to help in testing, contribute or just can't wait to play it go to Star Citzen .com. Yes you have to contribute or purchase ships and other products to help towards developement but games aren't free. If you want to see game play, and learn more about Star Citizen check it on you tube.

So get your Space Panties Cleaned and ready for what looks to be an incredible new PC game.

 Thanks
